  • Door opening and gearbox and barrel replacement

    Had this wonderful trio (the pair of lads who are experienced locksmiths and fitters and one of their daughters who is learning the trade and doing a dam good job of learning if I might add)over today to open our back door (which is a flood door) where the gearbox had broken internally. This repair was attempted by previous locksmiths who couldn’t manage to get the door open, however, these three managed to get it open quickly, with no damage they replaced the gearbox and barrel and re-glazed and tested the function of the door. Very professional and highly knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

  • Replacement door lock

    Unexpectedly our main house door shut and would not open with keys or anything. We contacted the above company and was given a time when they could arrive. On arrival Leon managed to open the door and found the gear box behind the lock had broken. He replaced the door lock for a stronger one, informing us of different ones available. The door needed to be realigned, which he did. The door and locking system now feel far more secure than before. All work carried out effectively.

In October 2005 Craig Moorhouse an experienced business and family man founded In House Securities Ltd.


His aim was and still is, to provide the ultimate in personal service to the local community within the locksmiths industry.
