• Re-insulation of top floor of house

  Ekhtiyar's team completely reinsulated and redecorated the top floor of our house including two bedrooms, attic space and bathroom to a high standard with minimal disruption. The job was completed promptly within 3 months and they made sure to clean up once everything was finished. I really appreciated Ekhtiyar's personal approach as he ensured he communicated daily with our neighbours in order to keep them up to date with the progress of the job and ensure the build wasn't too disruptive. Would always recommend Ekhtiyar as you can trust you're in safe hands!

• Ceiling removal, plasterboard ceiling installation

  The old lath and plaster ceiling had started to separate, and was becoming a health and safety risk - falling. Ekhtiyar responded quickly, provided a very reasonable quote allied to workman availability. Quality of the final skim coat was excellent.

  Reliable and trustworthy team - Ekhtiyar and his team were competent and professional during the extensive refurbishment works in our house. I am especially pleased with the excellent real marble tiling work on the bathrooms, and the wooden flooring over two floors of the house was done beautifully too. In the bathroom refurb they also investigated and got to the bottom of a longstanding and complex issue with the old bathroom, I am so pleased they resolved this, which took extra work and expertise. In a nutshell, hard-working, honest and great building, plumbing and decorating work.

• Bathroom refurbishment plus loft insulation

  Excellent work from Ekhtiyar and his team. Work was completed over 5 weeks in November 2023. Phase 1 to clear loft and install 350mm depth of Rockwool / 250mm of PIR. Not easy as work encompassed very tight spaces. Phase 2 complete refurbishment of small bathroom. Transforming a tired looking bathroom to a fully tiled, new plumbing, open aspect shower room (with added storage); all pipework insulated. Note: EPC rating, taken immediately after work completed, on the flat obtained 'C' rating. The work above made significant contribution to that rating.

• New Fence

  Ekhtiyar's team did an incredible job replacing a previously badly erected fence. They took the old fence down and salvaged what was possible before installing a new one all the while ensuring they kept the area clean. He personally ensured communication with our neighbours was clear and all parties were happy (whilst evoiding damaging my neighbour's plants!)The work was finished quickly and to a high standard in around 2 weeks. They also ensured all rubbish was taken with them once complete. We've worked with Ekhtiyar a few times now and he will always be our first choice for jobs.

  I always use this company because I know I can trust Ekhtiyar to carry out the work on time, on price and to a great standard. I have used J Interiors and Exteriors for a number of projects and the experience has always been brilliant. On this job Ekhtiyar arranged for the property to be entirely renovated. This included a new kitchen, bathroom, flooring and entirely new wiring as well as decorating, all done to his usual high standard.
