  • Painting my house externally from top to bottom.

    Jay Kennedy is a very professional tradesman. Both my wife and I are very pleased with his work. His preparation work was very thorough, ensuring all surfaces were completely sound before starting to paint. This included a considerable amount of pointing which he did with an expert eye, to which end I'm sure every inch of our brickwork is now weather sealed. Two colours of masonry paint plus gloss painting of the woodwork has definitely much improved the appearance of our property. Jay Kennedy is a very likeable gentleman who knows his job very well. Always tidies up after himself.

    We cannot praise Jay enough. The speed, attention to detail, and value of his work is outstanding. Communicative, always on-time, he delivered results beyond our expectations.. We would certainly use again in the future - except the quality of his finish was so high, we won't need to redecorate again for many years! Once we saw how good he was, and the extremely competitive rate he offered, we kept asking for additional bits of work which he happily accommodated. Highly recommended.

    Jason and Louie did an outstanding job painting our hall, stairs and landing also the living room and dining room. We were on a deadline and they both worked extremely hard to achieve it. He is very polite, punctual and tidy. We will be recommending his services to others and also will use him again should be have other jobs that need doing. His prices are also very fair.

I am a time served Painter and Decorator and this is all i have done for 20 years. I have been a member of checkatrade since 2014. My work is to a very high standard and at a rate that is fair. I am clean and reliable and work with the customer so there is minimal disruption whilst the work is being carried out.

I have heard too many stories of other so called Decorators who say they can do the work and deliver an unsatisfactory job. I take pride in my work and honestly give the maximum input into everything i do. 

My background is both working on domestic properties and commercial property. I have been working with one contractor for the past 5 years doing various projects around the country. I have always got more work from domestic clients through there recommendations.

ONGOING CONTRACTS:

I am one of 2 main contractors for "The church of england housing association" i look after 100 flats for them and when a property becomes vacant i do a full re decoration on them and manage to turn them around in 3 days so they can be let out again asap. We also do planned works once a year for the communal areas, corridors,staircases and social rooms.

RENTED ACCOMMODATION:

FOR TENANTS:

I offer a end of tenancy "clean up" which involves painting of the walls to each room so the property looks clean and fresh to hand back to the landlord. In most cases this can be done in 2 days.

FOR LANDLORDS:

Myself and a team can do a full re decoration on a standard size 2 bed terrace in 4 days. This includes walls,ceilings and all woodwork. I understand how inportant it is to have your property back on the market asap.

I offer a free friendly no obligation quote to everyone. I also recommend that customers should get at least 3 quotes for work.
