  We used Kolin's services a number of times, his knowledge ranges from building work to plumbing, electricity, heating, he can help with most repairs and building work. He is very honest, will always try to fix things before advising you to buy new parts and he always suggested for me to get the replacement parts and where to get them so he only charged for his work. He is just really knowledgeable, honest and hardworking, I wouldn't trust anyone else and always call him for any issues around the house now.

  I had several quotes from different people that I felt were unreasonable. Kolin gave a very reasonable price with excellent results. He even Tided unsightly fillings that had been previously carried out by another tradesman without even being asked ! He was both friendly and professional. I was very happy with his work and would recommend him to anyone needing a job done.

• Bathroom Ceiling replacement

  We discovered a leak in our bathroom ceiling in late November 2023. The water had damaged large sections of the plasterboard in the two layers of the ceiling. We looked on Checkatrade for a contractor, Kolin was local and highly recommended, and also happy to come around quickly and investigate and quote without charge. We agreed on a list of what needed to be done to strip out the old ceiling and replace it. This included replacing and re-positioning a fan and switch. Kolin was very tidy, courteous, and hardworking. The job was completed quickly and to an excellent standard.

  I have needed Kolin's help many times in the past 2 years, his expertise ranges from painting to electrical work, building work (even on the roof and gutter!), plumbling, leak identification and repair, from small jobs to bigger building ones. He is an extremely experienced builder that can tackle any type of work, otherwise he is honest enough to tell you. He has been more than fair in what he charged us and he is now my go-to point of contact for ANY type of issues I have at home (electricity, plumbing, painting, building work, leaks and repairs etc.). I can't reccomend him enough.
