Charles made use of an opening in his busy schedule to perform some initial checks ahead of a scheduled appointment. We're so glad he did: he not only found that electric shocks we'd been getting from our kitchen were the result of inadequate earthing, but fixed it on the same visit. We look forward to his return in a couple of weeks' time, and will certainly use him again on other occasions.
