  Lewis replaced 6 internal doors for us. From the initial enquiry he was very responsive, providing a quote quickly and keeping us informed of price and when he could carry out the work. All completed in a couple of days and the place was left clean and tidy. First time we have used him and we were very impressed and happy with the work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or use him again for any carpentry work.

• Lounge cupboards and shelving

  Lewis built two beautiful bespoke base units in our lounge and two sets of shelving. Well designed carpentry that will last forever. The shelves are ‘floating’, but there’s no chance of them buckling or falling down as they’re solid. Lewis was great to work with, he made recommendations based on what we were looking for and executed it all with ease. Delighted!

• Under stair storage

  We booked Lewis to add under stairs storage and doors (we had them done previously and they were falling off/ not fit for purpose). Lewis resolved the issue, re-fitted the doors and they now work brilliantly. His work is immaculate and he was friendly, helpful and tidy. I’d highly recommend Lewis for any carpentry requirements.

• To hang a standard wooden door, fit door knob and latch fit for purpose

  Carpenter turned up looked at materials I supplied, hung the door, knob and latch and chatted away happily. Left me his details for other work that he was going to come back to sort the next weekend as had no time to do on the day. He left, I opened the door he hung to realise that I couldn't open it from one side as door handle too close to door frame. Messaged to let him know he said he was busy couldn't do for a few weeks. I chased then he said he would come to sort but charge me £30p/hr as doing me a favour! They were unwilling to come to resolve despite not being fit for purpose. Avoid
