  This was the second time we used Mark for a painting and decorating project. Again the work was completed to a very high standard that exceeded our expectations. Mark and Mick arrived promptly at 08:00 everyday. Painting a busy hallway and landing that gave access to the main bathroom meant they were frequently interrupted by family members but the managed the disruption with good humour. They were a pleasure to have in our house. We would definitely ask Mark back to undertake further work, we have already recommended them to neighbours and and we would happy to provide a reference.

  Our experience of Mark and Mick was great from the initial quoting phase through to completion of the project and which naturally expanded over the course of their time on site of the 5 bed Victorian house. Externally they decorated window ledges, garage, gate and outbuilding. Internally they prepared and decorated all rooms, working seamlessly with another contractor on site fitting the kitchen and cloakroom. They arranged some re-plastering where necessary and stepped in last minute to repaint doors where altered by the carpet fitter! A real pleasure to work with and superb workmanship.

• External painting of a house

  Our house is Grade Two Listed and has unique metal windows, Mark and Mark and Mick took on this challenge and did an excellent job. The house had not been painted for a while, so there was a lot of preparation work to do. The work was carried out during the June heat, which gave an added difficulty. We are delighted with the outcome and will ask them to do more work in the future. I have no hesitation in recommending them and think that you will not be disappointed if they work for you.
