• Electrical Safety Check of new garden room

  I recently had a garden room built containing a hydrotherapy pool by some other builders and at the end of the project I unfortunately had serious concerns regarding their workmanship, particularly as there was water involved. Having used Malcolm before for work on our previous home, I reached out to him for some advice. He came round really quickly and checked over all of the electrics for us, putting our mind at rest that it was safe. He turned up on time, was thorough, polite and professional throughout and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any electrical needs.

• New consumer unit

  I am a landlord, needed a new consumer unit and EICR certificate . He arrived on time was very well presented , explained the whole process and even cleaned up after himself . I have had him to my own property to carry out other electrical installations including a consumer unit and electrical power taken to my out buildings via armoured cable . He arrived on time , kept me fully informed on his progress , was swift , efficient and tidy . I would well recommend this tradesmen to any of my friends and family and to you too .

• External lighting giving up the ghost

  I picked Malcolm out of the Checkatrade leaflet to look at the 1980s external lighting at our small flats as it had failed. He arrived at the time promised and was polite, helpful and positive about the options and costs, recommending new LED lights, which would be more efficient and easier to manage. He collected and fitted them quickly the same day at a very reasonable cost - less than I had expected! I would readily call him again and would happily recommend him to others, particularly as his pleasant manner would help if someone is nervous of engaging contractors.

• Replacement of shower isolator switch

  The isolation switch for my shower was faulty, blinking off and on. I contacted Malcolm as a new customer. He immediately replied and arranged to call in the following morning to change the switch. Really nice guy, arrived on time and completed the job for a reasonable price. I will definitely use him again for any future electrical work.
