Thatch repair and re-ridging a kitchen extension.
10Verified ReviewWe were badly let down by another thatcher who walked out leaving the job not finished and loads of mess. Nick and team sorted it out and finished the job leaving everywhere tidy. They finished on time and did some tidying up after the scaffolding came down while we were away. They did an amazing job, completed the thatch, added a fire barrier, sorted out a half finished window and then ridged to finish. They cleared up every evening and left everything clear at the end. Can highly recommend, a really good job completed with no fuss. Our house is beautiful again! ??

Master Thatchers South was established in 1984. I started thatching with this company in 1985 and became a partner in 1990. I took over sole ownership of the business in 2001, becoming a limited company in 2004.
We cover all aspects of thatching from full re-thatches in Water Reed and Combed Wheat in to minor repairs.
We can offer advice on all aspects of roof construction for thatching, in particular information on Fire Barriers and Insulation products.
Our past contracts have included work for Councils, the National Trust and County Estates.
