    Jamie and his team, did an excellent job taking up old driveway and laying new Tarmac drive, we are very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend. At the end of every day, everything clean and tidy. Very professional

  • Parking area extended

    Jamie and his team created a new tarmac parking area along the side of my garage and included a gravel drainage area and soak-away. Because the site had a considerable slope, a new concrete retainer was laid round the perimeter to level things up. The site was excavated to 225mm below the finished height and hardcore laid. Before applying a 75mm coat of tarmac a geotextile membrane was laid. On top of the hardcore. They also replaced the old tarmac in front of the garage. New perimeter fencing was also installed. Overall I was very pleased with the work which came with a 5 year warranty.

    Very happy with our driveway. We needed a ramp for wheelchair use but didn’t want this to be an obvious disabled access. They listened to what we wanted and got it spot on! Couldn’t be more pleased with the finished result.

    New patio laid, all grouting cracked within 3 weeks and now starting to come out. Newstone laid my patio, they started when agreed and finished on time however within 3 weeks of finish all the grout was starting to crack, I contacted them several times by email and phone but have not been able to get Jamie to come back and resolve. Its now 4 months later with no resolution and the grout is now starting to come out of the tiles, this does not bode well for winter weather.

    Jamie gave me a quote and managed to fit me in within a few weeks. Dug out existing gravel drive and replaced with block paved drive and built new retaining wall Very happy with the finish and speed at which it was all completed. No mess left and easy to contact at all times.

Newstone Construction provide surfaces for both domestic and commercial projects including roads and parking areas. With over 25 years combined experience, our expertise extends to all types of surfacing and preparatory work without the need for subcontractors.
