  We found Christian through Checkatrade as we're new to the area and had no contacts or recommendations to go on, and he's been a complete star. Fitted a sink and tap in our utility, which was oddly built without. He's removed a bath in our ensuite and replaced it with a wall-mounted double sink and made good the tiling... and most recently been back to replace a boiltap for us that failed (installed by the house builder). Christian is quick to respond, really clear and transparent on what things will cost, and the standard of his work has been fantastic. Highly recommended.

• Replacing shower

  After over three years of a malfunctioning shower and having different plumbers come out and not be able to identify the problem, Christian came out, diagnosed the problem and very quickly scheduled the time to come and replace the shower. He was able to identify problems that no previous plumber had been able to see! What is more, he has solved those problems! After previous experiences, we really do think we have enjoyed a superior service with Christian and have no hesitation in recommending him for your plumbing work.

• Sink basin and taps replacement

  Great job, needed the taps and basin replaced as the clamp holding the taps had fallen off (was 15 years old), and sink was really stuck to the wall. Replacement was done really fast and didn't even damage the tiles, would highly recommend Northway Plumbing. And the cost was really good too.

  We recently moved in, and needed some immediate work done. Northway were communicative and checked what was needed before arriving, organising an electrician to come and help with the work. They managed to get everything done within a day, which was fantastic. They were friendly and helpful - would definitely recommend, and would absolutely use them again!

• Recapping off gas fire supply

  I had an old capped off gas supply feed which I needed capping off further back into the wall to allow for redecoration of the room. Christian was able to carry out the work on short notice and got the job done in under an hour. I've used Northway previously and as before Christian let me know he was on route and provided a quick, professional and efficient service at the best price I was quoted, highly recommend!
