  Graham was given a blank canvas in working in our garden, with a few ideas from us. The finished product produced by Steve and Graham involved a number of planters, turf and a couple of patios with pathways. The approach they take to work is exceptional. Graham talked to us about his process and provided a clear quote which we added to. He does not like going over what is agreed, which is a good trait. His approach was excellent throughout and we have a great garden. He also undercut a competitor by 75% under their quote. We were happy with that too!

  We originally contacted Over the Hedge ( OtH ) landscapes when we were looking to get our brand new garden patch transformed from a new build patch to a finished article. We had requested quotes from 3 suppliers, the quote we got from OtH was clear, breaking all elements down and captured all requirements. They had understood our brief perfectly but made suggestions that actually improved on our request. They accommodated all of our requirements and we are very happy with the finished result.

  Graham did a fantastic job moving a patio, putting in some steps and building lots of raised beds in our garden. He took time to understand what we wanted, and helped us think through the pros and cons of various decisions with all his expertise. He was friendly and communicative throughout.   Highly recommended. Graham did a really good landscaping job for us. Great attention to detail, good standard of work, always tidy, takes pride in his work, and gave great advice to help us end up with exactly what we wanted. Graham responded to all our messages promptly, which has been a real issue with some other tradesmen, and both he and Steve turned up on time every day. We're really pleased with the result and will definitely be recommending Over the Hedge to friends.

• Artificial turf laying

  Removed decorative stones from a section of the garden, dug down to a depth to allow hardcore and sand. Created a frame and then laid artificial turf. Very polite, professional, clean and tidy. Thank you both the rotties are loving it.
