  Pete had to prepare the very old uneven walls in an 1850s cottage- with lots of old paint and also where gloss had previously been used on a ceiling. He kept us well informed of progress, with photos and messages . He gave very knowledgeable advice about the types of paint and even colour advice which was useful . Pete’s skills extend to other work- he has fitted out a utility room very well for us. He tidies up well, arrives very promptly in the morning too. He has papered and lined then painted most of our house. I would greatly recommend and trust him implicitly in the house.

  Excellent work. We have used Pete before when he painted our lounge and hall, landing and stairs 4 years ago. We always said that we would ask Pete back to complete the rest of the house, but the Covid pandemic got in the way somewhat! Finally Pete was able to come back and complete the rest of the house over a 2-3 week period. He works very fast but is very diligent and a true professional. I would have no hesitation in inviting him back for other jobs when the need arises. Make sure to provide plenty of tea to make sure you get the best out of Pete's work ethic!

  Peter spent three weeks with us and without any doubt he was the best decorator we have ever had. His workmanship was faultless and he was able to sort out several problems we had quickly and efficiently. He also helped us with colours and gave us other valuable advice. He told us an exact date for starting the work and turned up everyday until the decorating was finished. He was incredibly tidy and when I returned home every evening, everything was neatly stacked in one corner. We will always use Peter in the future and can’t recommend him highly enough.
