    Done many things for us over the years (25+) and never let us down. Arrived in less time than it has taken me to get around to doing this review. Always starts from the point 'we can fix this' rather than 'hmm, you need a new machine'. We need more Richards

    Arrived promptly. Due to being an integral washing machine it was slightly harder and fiddley work. But 40 minutes in he was done and dusted. Very happy with his job. Recommended. He specializes in Hotpoint creda indesit and Bosch and carries a wide variety of parts

    Richard gave really useful advice regarding my dishwasher which ultimately resulted in replacing the dishwasher rather than wasting money on an old dishwasher . Not cost charged by Richard . The Rome pair of the oven was prompt and reasonably priced. Thank you Richard .

Welcome to Point Appliance Care.

My name is Richard, I started up my company 27 years' ago. The "Point" is short for Hotpoint, as I was a Hotpoint specialist. These days I repair and carry parts for most makes of electric cookers/ovens and most Hotpoint, Indesit, Zanussi and Bosch siemans washing machines.

My aim is to repair appliances first time, same day, mainly only using genuine parts. I first started repairing appliances in 1986, 35 years' ago when I first left school working for a Zanussi agent. Then, in 1990 at the age of 20, I joined Hotpoint (which later became Hotpoint/Creda, then Indesit company, now whirlpool). Within 3 years I was promoted to a Senior Engineer and I left in 1995 to start up Point Appliance Care.

We also now sell spare parts, which I can drop off to you or can be picked up by arrangement from my home.
