10Verified ReviewBrilliant experience from start to finish. Excellent job, floor looks like new, good advice from Martin throughout the job, he was polite and I felt very comfortable having him around in the house, he works efficiently and diligently and is a bit of a perfectionist. Very reasonable prices, wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend. 10/10!

10Verified ReviewI’m very late posting a review but Martin came over a few weeks ago to restore (sand and then lacquer) our stripped original wooden flooring in the hallway, landing and the living room which was unprotected with wear and tear. He came over to assess the project and gave a quote which was very reasonable for the work involved. The work took approx 2 days. He was honest, friendly and hardworking and I’d recommend the work to anyone looking at restoring or keeping wooden floors rather than inserting carpet. We have such a nice flooring throughout now!

10I was initially suspicious of how anyone could get such high reviews, but Martin was everything claimed. Punctual, courteous, did a meticulous job, tidied up, all round top service. An excellent tradesman so comes well recommended from me.

Martin’s response to my inquiry through checktrade was prompt. He turned up for the job in time and managed to get it done to a high standard. Martin kept me informed about about all the nitty gritty through out the job and he worked around all the problems to deliver a superb final finish at the end. I could not recommend him enough for laminate floor jobs as he has brilliant workmanship and puts attention to details.

Polishing UK has been making wood look beautiful since 2003, when the company was established. The company was set up by Martin Currie, who entered the trade in 1990.
The services we offer are floor sanding & floor fitting, painting and decorating, alongside french polishing and furniture repair.
Most of our sanding is attached to a mighty hoover, which makes our work 99.8% dust free.
I provide free esimates and advice and have various samples of colours and finishes to show.
