“Nest is under soffits and in loft. Person who came didn't seem to know what to do, stood looking around for a few minutes and said he thought the nest was dead. Didn't get up to check, reluctant to get in the loft, didn't offer any treatment and then asked for £78 payment having done nothing except stare blankly at my wife. Seems as if he was a trainee that should have been supervised, paid £25 plus VAT call out.”

Response from Power Pest Control:
On booking the customer was advised to leave the nest alone until we attend, they decided to ignore this solid advice and threw ant powder into the hole which disturbed the nest, this meant the wasps were no longer using the entry point so there was no external activity. The loft was checked and no visible nest found. We always check the loft on all jobs to see if we can access the nest, they are not always visible. Also the technician that attended (Rob) does know what he is doing as per all of his mentions in lots of feedback on here plus 20 years’ experience in the industry. The customer had plenty of time to call and cancel the appointment but chose not to, hence the reason we charged them a small fee of £25-00 to cover our time on site. Again this all fall down to the customer ignoring advice and not cancelling the job with any notice.
