He came promptly to quote for the work and communication was good throughout. John was respectful and very tidy, and because the work took less time than he had estimated he reduced the original price. I would definitely ask John to do other carpentry jobs in our home, and have no hesitation recommending him to others.

10Verified ReviewJohn arrived on time, and was brilliant. I'm moving house, and unfortunately the removals company couldn't get the 7ft sideboard in. It required a qualified cabinet maker to dismantle and reassemble. This required him not only doing this, but then getting it up 2 flights of stairs, as its a second floor flat, without a lift. Absolutely delighted he achieved this and such excellent craftmanship. I highly recommend his work.

Hi, my name is John Parker and I am Quality Fit, which is a family run business with myself and my wife Kay.
I am following government guidelines in practising social distancing and am also limiting contact with customers and wearing appropriate PPE where needed. I have not had any Covid symptoms and have been isolating at home with my family as per the guidance rules. A lot of my work can be carried out at my workshop at home where no other people have been. If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to ask.
I have also completed the World Health Organisations training courses on ' Correct wearing of PPE' and ' Correct Hand Hygiene'. I have included the certificates in the photo section.
I have been in the carpentry / joinery / shop fitting trade all my working life - 34 years since finishing my apprenticeship locally in Bournemouth.
We pride ourselves in offering a full carpentry/ joinery service which is friendly, reliable, and competitive within the market. I am always happy to help and provide advice.
I have worked on various projects in a wide range of locations including listed buildings, schools and both residential and commercial properties. I have experience in restoration projects, refurbishments and shop fitting including the making and fitting of bars and counters and bespoke furniture.
No job is too small whether you need a fence repaired, furniture restoration or a unit made to measure.
A full service is provided which can involve a design process right up to completion. I can offer a full supply and install service using local merchants or creating items from scratch, or just a labour only service to suit your needs. Small and large jobs are both welcome and carried out to the same standard. We pride ourselves in offering a prompt, efficient service and are always conscious of our customer’s needs. We are also pleased to offer free estimates & fully guarantee all our work.
My skills include window and door repairs and manufacture ( unfortunately due to a back injury I cannot hang multiple doors), skirting and architraves, creation of bespoke furniture, fitted wardrobes, flooring, fencing, gates, sheds, playhouses, saunas, decking and pretty much anything else involving wood!
I consider myself to be very experienced, hardworking, honest, and reliable and I pride myself on the positive comments I receive from my customers, many of whom have asked me back to do further work.
