  Simon did a fantastic job of building eaves storage in our bedroom, and also a bespoke bathroom cabinet – we are so pleased with the finished result! He was very polite and professional throughout, took the time to explain our options available, respected our budget, revised quotes accordingly, and finished the work within the specified time frame. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Simon again for any carpentry work, or recommend his services!

• Alcove unit

  Simon did an excellent job fitting a utility cupboard into an alcove. I had a specific request to match up the cupboard with existing book shelf units and I’m very pleased with the result. His price was competitive and he kept to the time allocated for the job. He was extremely efficient and pleasant to deal with. I will certainly use his services again and have no hesitation in recommending him.

  Simon gave a competitive quote in person and arranged a date for the work to be done. The shelves were installed quickly with minimal disruption to us at home. He left the room clean and tidy and we’re really pleased with the finished result. He was a pleasure to deal with and communication was excellent.

• Internal door fitting

  This is the 3rd job Simon has done for us; previously he replaced a garage door and replaced picture rails in 2 rooms. This time Simon replaced 7 internal doors in our 1930’s house, which doesn’t have 2 doorways the same size, or straight frames. Simon worked meticulously to make sure each door was trimmed to fit perfectly and oiled the areas he’d shaved wood from so the new doors are protected. We will always choose Simon for any woodwork as he takes such care and pride in his work and does an amazing, neat job. We’ll call him back soon for under stairs storage.

  Had hired Simon previously for a project and was keen to hire him again for a custom wall-to-wall shelving project. As always Simon was brilliant, courteous and often going beyond the call of duty - and also has a knack for improvising when things take an unexpected turn! I’m very happy with the results - 10/10, strongly recommended, will hire Simon again in a heartbeat for the next project!

• Two fitted custom bookcases

  Simon’s approach to the commission was very positive from the beginning and he was extremely receptive to my requests as the design developed. His communication was v good and he delivered in the timeframe he outlined. The build quality of the two bookcases is excellent and the finish is first class. He was discreet and extremely tidy, leaving the work site spotless at the end of each day and at the end of the project. The end result could not be more pleasing. I would highly recommend Simon for his skill and efficiency and for the ease with which to deal with him in bringing your ideas to life
