• New Patio and retaining walls

  The job was to replace an old patio with a larger one. The site was on a steep bank and it was necessary to remove about 10 tons of soil. The work area was very confined with narrow access. Three retaining walls were required to support the ground. Reading Groundworks advice on design and materials was invaluable. The work was completed on time, at the price quoted and to a very high standard. Nothing was too much trouble. This is the third job Reading Groundworks have done for us in the last 2 years and all have been excellent.

  I used Steve before about 3 years ago so when I phoned him and said could you remove some roots under my grass he did more than that !! He came round same day to have a look then came on the weekend and removed the roots cleaned up and left site cleaner then it was also when he was here he jet washed all the patio and done some extras looking after his work that he done 3 years ago this was not asked by myself so to come home and see it was brilliant thanks Steve and team don’t look anywhere else READING GROUNDWORKS ARE THE BEST

  We were so impressed with the quality of Steve's work on our previous job that we didn't even look for alternatives when our next major project was ready. This was to completely renovate our driveway and extend into a new piece of land we had bought. Always meticulous and planning ahead, Steve and his team ploughed through the work. Hard working, decent people with great skill. And above all I trust them. OK, Reading Groundworks isn't going to be the cheapest, but cheap always has its price in the end, and if you want less stress and a quality job, you can't go wrong here.

• Digging footings for new extention

  First time using steve and dil on this project I am working on, I intially called steve regarding the job and straight away I had an answer from him that he could get the job done. I was very impressed by his attitude and work ethic!......we overcame a few obsticals along the way but with no doubt steve had a huge amount of experience and knowledge to over come each stage. The job was completed to a high standard and no messing around , a huge thank you to the boys at reading groundworks. I highly recommend them and will be using them in the near future!
