  When meeting Chris we described roughly what we were after and left the rest to him. He talked us through the outline of the build and then through to the final build spec and finish. We were very pleased with the outcome as it matched what we envisaged and more. His team were helpful, polite and respecrful of our property.

  We starting working with Chris on the redesign of our kitchen , bathroom and construction of an en-suite from existing space , at the start of the year . We are now two thirds through the work . From the outset Chris has advised and worked with us to ensure that the outcome meets our needs . All his team are highly skilled , so that the results are outstanding. He and his team are punctual, polite and tidy . We have no hesitation in recommending Rookwood Construction.

  We could not be more delighted with the work Rookwood have done for us. The side extension on our house has had such a positive impact to the flow of our house, and our children are delighted with the bigger garden. Chris and his team were great to have on site - they work efficiently, clearly explain all the intricacies of any issues that arose, and helped to find solutions that worked within our budget. All the team were very polite and friendly to our 3 young children, patiently answering their many questions! We would definitely recommend Rookwood.

  A friendly, approachable team. Rookwood made helpful suggestions and offered amendments to our original plans that were more practical/sensible. If unexpected problems arose they provided solutions with our budget in mind. They replaced two steep, unsafe staircases with ones that now meet building regs and look amazing. Rookwood have achieved exactly what we were hoping for. With their knowledge and skill, we have updated our victorian cottage to cope with modern life, incorporating better flow through the house whilst maintaining its character. We would highly recommend Rookwood Construction.

• Repair and refurbishment of large outbuilding roof.

  The work was quite extensive and we needed it done fairly quickly. Rookwood were great about scheduling the job around their existing commitments at very short notice so it would be done in time. Helpful, knowledgable and hardworking, Chris, Antoinette and the guys did a terrific job and were a pleasure to deal with. In spite of various unforeseen issues arising they still managed to complete the job for slightly less than the initial quote. Couldn't be happier and we're already hoping to book them in soon for more work.
