  We found Steve on Checkatrade after our previous builder let us down, and I'm so glad we did. As someone who generally undertakes most jobs myself it was nice to find someone who explained every step of the job and completed work to a standard I was very happy with. Steve also had the experience to recommend other options or designs which was reassuring. Steve recommendations for Plumber and Door fitters were also excellent. Work was completed on time, he was great with our young kids who were very interested in his work and we would definitely use him again on any future projects.

• New warm roof and roof lantern

  Steve fitted a new warm roof and installed a roof lantern on our kitchen extension. The quality of the work was excellent and he kept us well informed of the project progress and costs. He researched several options for us for our budget and I fully trusted his recommendations based on his years of knowledge and experience. The roof was turned around very quickly without compromising on quality, it being the middle of winter with unpredictable weather, Steve was also very considerate in making sure there was no weather damage to other parts of the property. Would highly recommend his services

• Noise

  During the last few months while in the bedroom you could hear the wind ,,cars driving past and people talking. We have double glazing As we live in a bungalow I thought maybe the noise was coming via the roof.I looked at checkatrade and saw a builder with a nice clean van and a good report for this year. So I rang him. He said I will phone you tomorrow morning Next morning as promised he phoned and said he could come and have a look i He turned up after looking inside then outside said all you need to do is buy some seal for inside one of the windows . Cost me 5£ from the range. Thank you

• Removing wall and Installing steels

  We were really pleased with the quality of work Steve carried out for us. We needed a load bearing wall removing between our kitchen and dining room and several steels installing. Steve kept us informed throughout the whole process- he was very transparent with costs and ensured not to move ahead with anything until we were happy. He kept us updated with lots of pictures and videos, and went above and beyond to help us with unforeseen issues that arose. The quality of work is excellent, his team were very prompt and professional and I would highly recommend his services.
