• Converting a detached double garage into a one-bedroom bungalow

  Steve and his trade colleagues have made a fabulous job of converting our garage into a cosy home for my mother. We had architect plans and went for planning permission but were advised throughout the process by Steve and his colleagues as we had to make choices during the build. Everyone was pleasant, hard working and created an excellent finished product. Cannot wait for my mum to see it (11 days away for her move). Thanks to all involved. Six weeks from start to finish.

  Competitive quote for single garage conversion, covering; Raising roof height New roof Door Window Wiring for power and internet And everything else needed to make it a cosy space Kept informed of schedule and each step, sub contractors were always polite and friendly, just keep them well watered with hot drinks in these colder months. Electrician done a very tidy job indeed added a cheeky usb plug even though I forgot to ask for one. Took about 4 weeks once they got going around weather.

  I have to say without a doubt Steve has been incredible. The quality of work has been great , any changes that we have made have not been a problem and all work has been carried out better than expected. Steve is an honest guy and very approachable to discuss the project . Best building experience we have had . It’s nice to see that there are still great trades out there . We would without hesitation recommend Steve to anyone requiring garage conversion or other construction projects.

Communication was brilliant, always knew exactly where things were up to and even kept the neighbours happy by informing them of any disruptions that might be caused. • Removing the wall between the kitchen and the dining room and installing a new kitchen

  We selected S.R.I based on the ratings on checkatrade and we were not disappointed. This was the first time we were doing anything like this and we were a bit nervous but Steve was brilliant. The result is great, we love our new kitchen, our friends and family are impressed. The work included removing the old units and fitting the new ones, new flooring, plastering and painting the whole room, plumbing and electric work. It finished on time and we paid what was agreed upfront. All in all, we’re very very pleased.

  We’re delighted with the work that Steve had done, converting our home’s integrated garage into an extra living space, which will soon be a kitchen. Steve listened carefully to what we wanted and made suggestions, based on his years of experience. From the brickwork outside to the finish inside, everything has been done to a high standard. He also coordinated his electrician and plumber to move the utilities over to the new room. Steve arrived when he said he would and kept us up to date with building work and pricing. We would use Steve again in future and would thoroughly recommend!
