  Toby and his team did a great job on a major house renovation project involving structural work, taking out and putting in internal walls, replacing the bathroom, installing radiators, windows, flooring, garden fences, updating the heating system etc. Toby and his team were very easy to deal with and took a lot of the stress out of dealing with building control, the structural engineer and neighbours.   Toby and his team were good natured and hardworking in our home. Toby was helpful in our dealings with building control and helped us deal with the compliance requirements. He made good recommendations, like replacing old radiators, and the work was finished on budget. I appreciated the detailed quote in advance that allowed us to see what we were spending on different parts of the work. I also appreciated Toby’s attention to detail, as he fitted skirting and architrave which was sympathetic to the existing style.

• Repair of a deep crack in a party wall

  Toby and his colleague were very efficient and professional. Toby provided detailed paperwork prior to his work, and answered my questions before and during the repair of a substantial crack in a ‘party wall’. Afterwards, he provided photos of the repair process. Schedule and estimate followed. Assured me that if issues arose, I could contact him. Job well done! I would highly recommend Toby and his team.

  After reviewing several quotes I opted for Salmon Building based on their competitive pricing and realistic timescales . After my initial conversation with Toby, I was impressed by his attention to detail and how he put forward suggestions that would add value to my property whilst respecting my budget. The quality of workmanship was very high and Toby ensured that fittings from suppliers were checked before installing. This was my first refurbishment project and Toby helped me navigate the various options. His team are experienced and skillful and I intend to use him again for other projects.
