    Soundproofed the party wall in 4 rooms with an independent wall system and underfloor flanking on the first floor. Tidy and efficient team, all went well and I think we’re hearing significantly less noise coming through the walls now, so it’s a success.

    From start to finish contact with the company was excellent and clear. Raymond did a very good initial survey and discussion, responsive to my needs. The team of Shane and Pavel were neat and tidy and worked expertly and to time. They were well briefed and willing to adapt and were helpful with my queries. The quote was competitive and looks good value. As my neighbour's house is vacant its efficacy has yet to be tested but I am sure, seeing what was packed in, that it will be an improvement.

  • Soundproofing of two walls done well

    The team arrived on time, did a professional job within the two days specified and we are very pleased with the result. They advised us to have the walls skimmed afterwards, which we initially thought would be unnecessary. Having wallpapered one wall, we discovered they were right, so we stripped off the wallpaper and have had the walls skimmed. Our mistake - based upon a previous installation of soundproofing, which was of a different design. We cannot criticise the Soundproofing UK team at all, who did an excellent job. We would strongly recommend them to other potential customers.

    This company applied a soundproofing system to the alcoves in the living room of my Victorian terraced house. I went for the system that I was informed would have a 75% reduction in sound. I think the sounds that I am contending with (dogs barking) may be too much to expect to have 75% reduction, so it may be more like 25% which is a shame. Shane and his team were knowledgeable, helpful and responsive.

In most cases soundproofing installations are not messy, it is quick, not as expensive as you may think and you don’t have to move out.
