Advice on damp

10Verified ReviewDean came out very quickly to look at our problem area and identified the issue. He gave us a very prompt quote, with which we were very happy. Keiran and Ryan came and did the work of replacing the coping stones and were very tidy and efficient, the work being done to a very high standard. Very pain-free from start to finish with excellent communication throughout. Would not hesitate to use again and would recommend to anyone.

10Verified ReviewAfter returning from holiday to a damp mess following heavy rainfall, Dean and his amazing team arrived at every appointment, from intro to job completion on time, with a plan, and treat our house with the upmost respect. Unbeknown to them they had a highly stressed client going through cancer treatment! Yet I never had to mention that once as they were just so considerate in doing the job so well.

10Verified ReviewFROM THE OUTSET FROM THE GENTLEMAN WHO CAME TO INSPECT THE WORKS AND THE OPERATIVE WHO CARRIED OUT THE WORK, THEIR FIEST THOUGHT WAS FOR US THE CUSTOMER, THE QUOTE WAS DISCUSSED, WHAT WAS NEEDED TO BE DONE, TIME SCALE RELATING TO THE WORKS, THE LADY ON THE END OF THE PHONE WHO I SPOKE TO WAS HELPFUL, THE GUY WHO DID THE WORK ANSWERD ANY QUESTIONS THAT I HAD, SAFEY WAS GOOD. WE HAD TO HAVE WORK CARREID OUT IN AN OUTSIDE SHED AT THE SAME TIME AND THAT THERE WOULD BE A TIME SCALE WHEN IT WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE FOR ANY ONE PERSON OR ANIMAL TO ENTER. ALL ROUND EXCELLENT.

10Verified ReviewTrustworthiness goes such a long way in this trade- South East Timber and Damp were straight talking and explained things in a way I could understand. Unlike the other 5/6 professionals we had in to sort this problem, Dean knew what would sort our damp straight away and also gave advice to avoid future mould problems. Dean and his team were fantastic and treated our home with respect and left everything very tidy throughout the works. The technicians were great too. Really wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company for any capacity of works needed.

Dean is the company surveyor with 30+ years of experience, having worked in his teens on-site, overusing jobs with another company to set up his own company 15+ years ago. Dean has surveyed literally thousands of homes across Kent and the South East and has a knack for explaining in layman's terms what is happening to cause the issue along with how best to rectify it.
All remedial works are carried out by our highly experienced technicians, who have been loyal to us for many years and have each received hundreds of handwritten positive feedbacks (see our website) regarding the quality of their work and their helpfulness towards our clients. Finally, Annabelle ensures that the whole process runs smoothly and that you are completely satisfied with every aspect of our service.
