• Roof and valley repair

  We chose Standard building as we had a neighbour who had work done on their roof and recommended Chris and his team. We had already used 3 roofers before Chris, all 3 of them couldn't do the job. We had a leak at both ends of the house and we had work done on the valley and also the roof itself but to no avail. Chris came round and gave us a fair quote and was very straight to the point in what work we needed doing, he offered a fair price too. The work was completed in a few weeks to a very high standard. 2 months later and no leaks!! I couldn't recommend using standard building enough!

  Chris and his team did an excellent job. They were well organized, turned up reliably and were no trouble to have around. They were able to finish the work within a week as planned but not cutting any corners on quality, even working on a Saturday to get the job done when they hit an unexpected snag.

• Replace whole roof, replace double glazing and open up wall and fit new double-glazed window

  Trustworthy and reliable team. They fitted my work in as it became obvious a simple repair needed to be a whole new roof replacement and during hottest summer on record. I felt totally respected and involved as an older female customer. The work was fantastic, high quality finishes and a commitment to my satisfaction with their work. I have no doubts that if I had/have any future problems, that they would come out and resolve them. I appreciated the family values that the team brought with them, and the flexibility they showed during the project. I recommend them and would use them in future

• Repoint North Wall of House

  Chris and his team completely repointed the north wall of our house, that had been letting water into the property when heavy rain happened, this has fixed the problem. It was Chris who suggested this remedial action was needed and he was absolutely correct
