    Steve's work is of a really high quality. The doors he installed for us look great as do the very large shelves he made, spray-painted and fitted. He also fitted a radiator cabinet which we are very pleased with. He just gets on with the job with really great results. He is a master of his trade and I can't recommend him highly enough. We are hoping to get him back for more work this year.

    I contacted Steve for a quote to supply and install new newel posts, handrail and spindles to replace our old and worn existing handrail and posts on our stair case. Steve was quick to provide a survey and quote, and the work was scheduled to take place around 8 weeks later. Steve arrived promptly to carry out the works and managed to do everything over two days. Steve was professional and tidy, and the quality of work was exceptional! Very precise joinery, and lovely chamfered detailing on the newel posts and spindles too. I would highly recommend Steve for your carpentry needs!

    This is our second job by Steve Bailey. He built beautifull fitted bookcases with integral electric sockets and they have transformed a small plain living room. He listens carefully and makes useful suggestions to problem spaces. He is excellent at quality designs and workmanship. His work is very well finished and everything is carfefully tidied up. He comes exactly when he says he will and works all day. He is expensive but the price reflects the finished quality of the work.
