  A very weird intermittent roof leak that took a bit of troubleshooting, Richard was happy to take this on even though it was fiddly and he was flat out. Others either didn't come back or wanted to charge 10x as much! Very happy, thanks.

  Although very busy and so a delay in getting a fixed date to come, I always felt sure that they would arrive and the job would be done well which it was and it has been tested with plenty of rain fall. It was a small and quite complicated job and carried out thoughtfully. A small scaffolding rig was required and had the job been higher they also have a cherry picker to avoid a high tower and the expense. I had seen them working on another building which made me ask them to do my job. I am very pleased and they were a pleasure to have around

• Repairs to chimney and roof

  The chimney breast and adjoining roof area was leaking and the bedroom ceiling so we were afraid it would fall in. Despite it being close to Christmas and the company, very busy, Richard came out immediately, quickly erected the necessary scaffolding etc and effected emergency repairs before repairing the chimney and roof permanently. We are now completely dry. His work was exemplary and we have asked him to do further work for us in the near future. I have every confidence in this company and would happily recommend it to others

• Repairing the main roof of my house

  I did not know this man, but saw him working on a neighbour's property. He checked the problem and said he'd return in a few days. He turned up on time and fixed the problem on the roof with no fuss. Job done with no mess and a fantastic price that I was only too happy to pay. Contrary to what people may think regarding the scores, I did not know this man prior to the job; but scored what he deserved.
