    Firstly, Terry was more than happy to come out and talk me through his expert thoughts before I gave him the job, which was really reassuring and was ultimately why I choose him. He then made sure to respond to all my questions regarding what products I needed to procure prior to the commencement of the work. During the job, Terry made sure to communicate any decisions with me and provide his opinion which I valued. The work went well and Terry was subsequently happy to come back for some final touches which was appreciated. Overall, I would use Terry for any further plumbing work I had.

    From start to finish, Terry was an absolute diamond! He gave advice regarding purchase of products, demolished bathroom, tiled walls and floor, and installed new products. He kept me informed throughout the process; he made sure to consistently and meticulously check what I wanted, and no request was too much work! Terry remained positive and professional the entire time. He is a true example of quality workmanship, and especially as a woman seeking out tradespeople, Terry is someone you can have total confidence and trust in!

  • Complete Bathroom Refurbishment

    Terry did a complete refurbishment of my bathroom in my Victorian house in Walthamstow. This involved all the plumbing and installation of a new bath, basin and shower, which required some very skillful pipework. He also had to re-render and plaster the bathroom walls prior to tiling them and put up a new ceiling, along with lining the walls with tongue and groove panelling and fitting new skirting boards to restore the Victorian character of the bathroom. Finally Terry painted the bathroom. The result was a lovely period style bathroom. I cannot recommend Terry’s work highly enough.

    This gentleman was recommended from a friend, I’m so glad I listened to her and her reviews . Totally reliable, fabulous workmanship , nothing was to much trouble. Not only refitted the shower room but helped us pick our furniture for the bathroom. Will definitely use Terry again to fit our other bathroom downstairs in the very near future.

Welcome to T&G Building Services Plumbing & Heating Specialist established family business for over 20 years.

My name is Terry and with my small team I have worked all over the UK providing small building works including renovations/installation of bathrooms in fact any room can be re-designed and styled to your specification. If you need tiling, painting, carpentry and wall paper hanging I can also offer this as part of my service. 

I gained my City & Guilds qualification in Plumbing & Heating/Pipe Fitter Welder back in 1975 and decided to become Self Employed in 1982 due to the potential to expand and gain a good customer base.

My customers have always be satisfied with my standard of work, reliability and trusting nature and my tenacious "can do attitude"  The majority of my clients have been through recommendations and they include Millbank Westminster, Morgans Bank, CEO of Aeon Insurance, Margaret Thatcher these are just a few prestigious jobs in my long career.

You've probably guessed I'm no youngster and this is why I want to work more locally and have decided to advertise on Checkatrade so give me a call.
