• Helpful advice on solar panel problem

  I have 16 solar panels on my roof. The microinverters download data to the wifi system in my house through the Enphase Gateway and Enphase Ethernet Adaptors. Earlier this week an adaptor failed and I had no readings of power production on my panels. I could not get a replacement Adaptor from Enphase or its contractors. I then called Techfor Energy and spoke to a representative. In a few minutes he understood the problem and told me which adaptor to buy (a TP-Link adapter) . This I did. I plugged in the 2 new adaptors and my system is now up and running again. Brilliant service. Thanks to TE

• Solar Installation

  We have had two domestic installations with Glen and the team and initially found them to be very professional. However we've had two issues with our system recently and left messages on TFE's answer phone and they have not responded. After asking Enphase to nudge Glen, he finally did call me. However I was very disappointed with his attitude. He told me that because I hadn't signed the guarantee form, my workmanship guarantee wasn't valid. He also said because we had an issue with pigeons and hadn't paid for pigeon protection, he wouldn't fix the issue anyway. I feel left hight and dry.

  Another outstanding interaction with Techforenergy. They installed a Tesla Powerwall for me which I am very pleased with. Glenn wanted to make sure that I was getting the maximum benefit from my system. He knows the energy market and the tech very well and took the time this month to follow up on my system and guide me through adjusting the settings on my battery to mine maximum value from the market. I now charge my battery at cheep rates when the battery has forecast dull weather the coming day and (the battery) leaves it to the sun if the forecast is for sun. Boil. Thank you Glenn.

  I fitted my first solar and Tesla battery system back in 2018. I was sufficiently impressed with the survey, installation and after sales service and support that I received from Techfor Energy - I fitting a second system a year later at another property. The second system was at my home address and with the purchase of a fully electric car I achieve extra benefit when surplus energy produced goes to charging the car. Now that is what I call saving the planet. Now six years on from the first installation I still get fast and helpful advise from the Techfor Energy team whenever I have a

  Excellent experience with Techfor Energy. Extraordinarily knowledgeable about the options and very clear and logical in approach to the design of our integrated Enphase / Tesla / MyEnergi system. The team who came an installed were really nice, efficient and professional. Aftercare has been great helping with any advice re choosing and setting up appropriate Octopus tariffs. Advise re system optimisation for restart after significant National Grid power cuts. Very happy with end result and now totally Myenergi app obsessed. Thank you Glenn and Techfor Energy.

• Excellent Solar Installation by TechFor Energy

  Glenn and his team did a superb job. They designed and installed our solar panel system, complete with a Tesla Powerwall storage battery and a MyEnergi-'Eddi' hot water unit. We are with "Octopus" and are using their overnight reduced ("Intelligent") rate. We also have a MyEnergi "Zappi" car charger. We are saving very substantially on electricity. We are extremely pleased and would not hesitate to recommend TechFor Energy.
