• Large domestic install of Solar panels and battery

  First of all, Jerry's quote was the same as EON's but included far more panels, extra equipment and better equipment, and all the additional costs EON didn't mention in their quote. EON would also have added extra costs once their surveyor had come out and included things like bird protection. Jerry is an expert installer and spent four days making sure everything was installed and working perfectly...bigger companies throw a load of random guys at the job to complete in one day.   I contacted several companies about having a solar system installed. One sent an enthusiastic sales person who thought that more panels would fit than was obviously possible as did some who provided estimates remotely. Jerry and Jack came and did a survey before producing a realistic proposal at a competitive price. An installation schedule was produced and they came on the scheduled days to do the work. Jack and Harrison worked hard to get the panels on the roof in a two day weather window. The electrician (Stuart) did a neat job of installing the distribution board and meter etc.

  From initial contact, it has been so easy to deal with Jerry and Thermadetect, the knowledge of solar systems was so useful, and they were able to listne ot what I wanted and give advice without any hard sell. Then to installation, this went so well, arrive when excpected, very courteous and tidy and kept me informed of what was happening and what to expect. Very impressed with the whole time with Thermadetect.

  We can highly recommend Thermodetect Ltd for Solar panel and battery installation. Jerry did an excellent job evaluation our requirements, designing, installing and commissioning it all. He teamed up well with Stuart who is definitely the best electrician I have come across. Jerry efficiently dealt with all the paperwork required and any follow up questions we have had. The system looks great and it works better than expected. We have had it for 15 months now and are very happy with the result. Thank you Jerry.

• Retrofit of SolarEdge Storage Battery

  We used ThermaDetect Ltd back in 2020 when our Sunny Boy Inverter failed just one month after the warranty ended. The original installer was no longer operating so I consulted several companies including ThermaDetect Ltd. After a visit by Jerry we got him to replace the inverter and do some extras. Price and work were excellent. Most recently, Jerry added a SolarEdge Battery to our system and once again his quote was very competitive and the installation was of a high standard. After sales support is very good too with setting up battery profiles and advice. Very highly recommended.

  Jerry did an excellent job surveying the site, discussing the work, designing the system and, with Jack and Stuart (electrician), installing and commissioning it. Because Jerry does much of the work and supervises the rest of it, he knows how the system can best be designed and fitted. He also handled all the paperwork required and negotiated with the DNO (Distribution Network Operator). Jerry, Jack and Stuart worked very thoroughly and tidily. The system looks great and it works very well. There have been no problems. Highly recommended.
