• Getting 2 of my circuits that had failed back up

  On Saturday 12/1/24 at 10pm all the upstairs lights went out and all power sockets in the back half of my house stopped working. I checked the RCDs and all showed they were on. We had a cold night. I rang this company next morning and spoke to Daniel who asked me questions to diagnose the problem. It is a quirk of my make of RCD. He then patiently talked me step by step through how I could reset everything, and waited on the phone until I got a stepladder. I followed his instructions carefully and it worked. He gave me advice and didn't charge me a penny. 5 stars and 100% to him. Thanks Daniel

• Adjust an external circuit providing power to a hot tub

  We had been having problems where the a plug in Hot tub was overloading some external 13a socket faceplates over time. Daniel responded very quickly to the enquiry on Checkatrade and following a quick discussion was able to recommend a safer and better alternative of an externally mounted 32a isolator. Daniel and his colleague were able to attend site within a day or so, and confirm this was a suitable option for the existing wiring and fit it within a couple of hours.

  Daniel did a great job of replacing old extractor fan with new one. Checking of smoke alarms and replacing batteries. Re fixed one smoke alarm downstairs. He was courteous, punctual, tidy, shoe protectors were a nice touch. I would highly recommend him to carry out work.

  Daniel and his colleague were friendly and professional. I first contacted U-Connect at 5pm and they were with me by 9am the next day, solved the problem quickly and tidily and they were polite and friendly throughout. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again, easily 10/10!
