“Unfortunately Darren's team completely ruined the carpets; they have been cut in several places along the walls and there are also very large stains, from the grey aggregate that was put underneath the plaster. We have before and after photos that prove unequivocally it was his team that damaged our carpets. They will have to be replaced - we have contacted Darren for reimbursement of £100 to cover our costs, and after initially agreeing he has not paid us, after a month and a half.”

Response from Uplands Preservations:
I am sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the service which was provided and to hear that the carpets have been damaged. I would like to clarify that my team always make sure that we take extra precautions before starting any works within a property. Before starting any works within your property we thoroughly protected your carpets by laying polythene and dust sheets which you witnessed yourself. I do not appreciate the fact that you have demanded a £100.00 reimbursement for damages otherwise you will publish a bad review. My previous reviews all clearly state that myself and my team always complete work in a professional and sound manner, your review is a clear statement to try and ruin the reputation of the company. If you were dissatisfied with the completed work I would have appreciated you contacting me immediately to raise your concerns as at completion you carried out an inspection of the property with a member of my team and you gave positive feedback. A two week delay to raise a complaint leads me to believe that you were initially satisfied with the completed work and you provided payment at completion.
