    Vernon completed tiling a 25m2 rectangle room, porcelain planks. Ditra matting, and self levelling and grouting included. Despite muddy conditions outside, Vernon made the best of the situation and got on with the job. Vernon showed up on time everyday, and provided enough time in between days for the tiling adhesive to set and dry. Vernon also helped us buy and return materials from Topps Tiles. Prior to the job starting, Vernon met us twice to look at the screed, to make sure things would go smoothly from day 1. I would recommend Vernon for your tiling jobs.

    Vernon did a great job despite various challenges such as uneven floor where new and old rooms met, as well as record temperatures in the heatwave. He started really early to ensure the materials weren’t affected by afternoon heat. He is meticulous in his attention to detail and I don’t think he could have made more effort in doing a good job even if it had been for his own home. Nice guy and trustworthy too. Would definitely recommend him.

Hi, I’m Vernon, a sole trader with more than 20 years’ experience as a tiling professional. I started off as a tilers apprentice working on building sites across London and surrounding areas, whilst achieving a City & Guilds qualification at college at the same time. I continued commercial tiling on building sites for 10 years, until I moved over to the domestic side of the trade which I have continued doing to the present day.

I work on all aspects of wall and floor tiling including wet rooms, bathroom renovations, kitchen remodelling, hallways, patios, garden paths and shop refits for both domestic and commercial projects.

I can also give you the very best advice for your project from tile choice, design and lay out to the preparation and making sure the materials are correct and suitable for your job. You can be confident that my workmanship will produce the exceptional finish you’re looking for.
