  Mitch and his team built a two storey extension to my 200+ year old cottage over an 8 month period. Despite some challenges thrown up by the weather and my creaky old house, Mitch did a fantastic job coordinating all of the trades and achieving a lovely end product. As this was my first major renovation project, I wasn't sure what to expect, but Mitch was honest, communicative and respectful throughout the build. He immediately dealt with any issues, and went above and beyond to help when part of my house that he wasn't even working on sprang a leak. I will genuinely miss our phone calls!

  Southdowns Builders were an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. Mitch provided a really detailed quote that was competitive. He started our job 2 months early, and finished 3 months earlier than expected! Furthermore, the project remained on budget. His team were very friendly, and mindful of the fact we were living in the property during the renovation with a young child and 2 cats. They always left the job clean, tidy and safe. All of the trades he provided were executed to a very high standard, and he always used top brands for materials. We couldnt rate them higher - thankyou!

  Mitch and the team have just completed an 8x3.5m extension to my property with a 3m breakthrough of an external wall. The work was done to a high standard, excellent communication throughout the project, good planning and continuity, courteous workers (two of Mitch’s sons worked on the project) and all on time. We blew the budget slightly but all due to my own changes to scope along the way which were handled professionally by Mitch and the team, and he kept costs down wherever he could. I have no hesitation in recommending Mitch and the team and will definitely be using them for other work.

  Mitch provided a detailed work description and estimate. Simon completed the work to an excellent standard and on time despite some unforeseeable issues. Very clean worker with exceptional attention to detail in all aspects. Very pleased with the result. We chose Mitch and his team after the excellent work they carried out previous on our cottage roof. Highly recommended.
