  • Shoring up a leaning wooden fence

    Wooden garden fencing was leaing over and in danger of coming down from strong winds. Had used Mr. Bisley before to install a new fence and he did a good job. This time he said the fence could be saved as the wood was in good condition and he quoted for shoring up the fence with concrete supports, a lot cheaper than a new fence. He did this and the fence is upright and looks good for a few more years.

    My garden fence was damaged by high winds over Christmas. This required the removal of a fence post and the panels either side of it ( Mr Bisley took these away for disposal at the end of the job), and the installation of a new fence post, a concrete support to strengthen the new post, and two new replacement panels. He did the work most efficiently and the final effect is spot on. On Mr Bisley's truck are the words "Professional, friendly, reliable". He deserves top marks for all three. He came when he said he would, did what he said he would, with no fuss, and charged what he quoted.

    The new fence panels which Andy put up look great and I'm very pleased with all the work he did in the garden. He was very helpful and discussed everything, taking care to work around my plants which was quite tricky! He was polite, punctual and very tidy and I would definitely recommend him.

    Andy erected a long chain link fence for us. He always arrived on time, was a quick and tidy worker and consulted us whenever decisions were required. He was much appreciated by our neighbours too. At our request, he took extra time to check to ensure that none of his work affected our wildlife and resident garden hedgehogs and he was happy to ensure that their access into and out of our garden was unimpeded. He is also prepared to use gravel boards (both concrete and wood) which allow access for hedgehogs.
