    A very fast and efficient service, problem was identified and fixed promptly.

  • Aerial signal problem.

    The tradesman came 2hrs after request for visit. He carried out full test on Aerial and narrowed problem down to set top box. Told to buy Booster with 4g and 5g filters. Did that and it came next day. After fitting, he came back at his own expense and repeated tests. Had set top box replaced. Problem not gone away and is unknown.

    A problem with loss of satellite signal, (solved by fitting wide band LNB), and investigation into fluctuating terrestrial signal was carried out professionally and efficiently. We were kept informed of results and what was required to fix the fault throughout the visit. From initial query to completion of job was just about 24 hours. Would have no hesitation in recommending this firm.

John is a City & Guilds of London Institute. Electrical & Electronic Servicing Signal Reception Pathway Engineer. Written and practical exams passed and conducted by the R.D.I. Registered Licensing Body.

The R.D.I. was set up by the government to protect you the general public. It only issues the certificate showing that the Engineer has passed all the relevant exams, and Modules. This shows the public that the Engineer is a Qualified Digital Aerial Reception Engineer Installer.

John from Aerial Fix was a member of the C.A.I. & the R.D.I. from 2010. to 2021.

And retired in 2021 from the C.A.I. & the R.D.I. in good and friendly terms. As John now only works on domestic installations ECT.

John keeps his work ethics to the same high standard of work that is expected from those organisations. Even though he is no longer a member of those organisations.

(Just a thought for you, the paying customer) Installers using words in any advertising stating Specialist aerial or dish installer, fully trained, fully qualified, licensed ECT can just be words. Always check their certificates, and Qualifications. If in any doubt regarding your rights and cooling off period, contact trading standards Southampton.
