  I first used Affordable Building in 2019 for a bathroom renovation project and repairing a leaking wall. I used them again having been very satisfied then and have just completed a total refurbishment on a problematic bathroom in an old property. There were many unexpected issues on the way and nothing was ever a problem or a delay. The finish is outstanding and has added great value to the property. Richard oversees a superb team of Luke the carpenter, Graham and Simon the plumber, plus expert painters and tilers. I would trust them to take on any project and work all honestly priced.

  Rich and the guys were a delight to work with and I would definitely recommend and call on them again. Rich is a lovely, friendly chap and was very positive about the work. Super quick with quotes, always on time, great communication and good at explaining what would happen when etc. His team, Graham and Luke were just a pleasure to have around and were excellent with my 2 year old trying 'to help' :) Excellent work - we love our new garden office and couldn't ask for a better service!

  We are delighted with the work which has been done to a very high standard. Richard was helpful and responsive throughout, if issues arose these were quickly dealt with. Very happy with Richard and his team and also the electrician he used. His team also fitted bifold doors for us and rebuilt front steps with handrail which we are very happy with.

• Underpinned bay window and installed drainage system

  Our poorly built bay window add-on was the cause of damp seeping into our living room. Richard and his team dug out under the bay, underpinned with concrete and repointed the wall where required. They also installed a course of aco drains along the front of the house. Richard and his team were reliable, friendly and professional. They arrived early every day, worked incredibly hard and carried out the work required to a high standard. We no longer fear the next round of heavy downpours! I would highly recommend Richard and his team to anyone.
