  Having worked previously with Alan, I knew he was a competent builder and was able to immediately identify the problem. As always, Alan was polite, friendly and kept a tidy workspace and completed the job in the allotted time. Would highly recommend as he is always my first point of call.

  My second time using AJS, Alan is the best builder I've ever come across. No job is too small, excellent communication (he has time to talk, always gets back to you quickly), happy to send before/after photos (the job was on my mother's house), stuck to agreed dates. Work was carried out to a high standard and everything left tidy afterwards. Alan also offered helpful advice with no sense of seeking extra work. Highly recommended, I just wish he was local to me in Wales!

  Alan is an absolute legend, We have had Alan do some work for us before , With the heavy winds today ,we woke up and found a large chunk of our roof had blown off , With very short notice ,Alan came out and reffited our slates (with new ones) ,amazing job as usual!! Thankyou Alan

  First time we had used Alan, Our lead valley was leaking badly , Alan had plenty of knowledge and did a fantastic job. He took before and after photos and kept us up to date. Really nice chap.

  Alan was great at communicating changing timescales due to weather challenges and kept us informed as the project went on. The work he did was great quality. He was happy to discuss options with the relaying of some brickwork and made sure we were happy with the finished product.

  Alan was amazing when it came to detail. He explained what was causing the problem in a way I could understand if I couldn't, he was very happy to take the time to explain it. He was prompt and got the time done in the timeframe he initially set out.
