  • Replacing cables on garage door

    At lunchtime yesterday the cable broke on one side of my garage door, leaving me unable to close the door. Upon telephoning A K Doors & Gates, within just over an hour, they arrived at my house and quickly replaced the cables on both sides of the garage doors. I was really impressed with the company and extremely grateful that they arrived so quickly as all the garage contents were clearly visible to any passer-by. The gentleman was so efficient and polite. Definitely the best experience I’ve had from any Checkatrade member I’ve used in the past. Shall certainly recommend A K Doors & Gates.

    Andrew from A&K doors got in touch with me on Saturday afternoon to ask for a brief description of what was needed to be done to fix my garage door. He explained that he could be with me on the Monday, and was here early Monday morning. Andrew was polite, knew his stuff, was very thorough and fixed my garage door in around 45 minutes. I would recommend A&K Doors & Gates to anyone. First rate firm, really pleasent to deal with.

    I found a "garage doors" tradesman in a checkatrade leaflet posted in our letterbox . They are A K Doors and Gates Ltd. Andrew Was pleasant and punctual .He explained why the door had jammed and had the spares to repair the door.His work was very neat and tidy.He used credit transfer for the repairs cost ,BACS, and this was fine.
