I chose ALPs Electrical for my solar installation based on several factors. Initially, great reviews and evidence of excellent workmanship and commitment through various media but clinched by enthusiasm for the product, an in-depth proposal based on my required specification, a fair price and being local. Isabella and Andy advised me on options and made all necessary provision for regulatory requirements. Installation was seamless, from scaffolding through to complete kit, the team worked very well together and the end result very aesthetically pleasing. I'm so pleased I chose ALPs Electrical.

Alps Electrical Fantastic Team. From the home visit and the phone calls even before any work was carried out was such a wonderful experience. Day of install was a well oiled machine the whole team were very pleasent and cheerfull, "fantastic", very respectable of the property and tidy while working. The completion of the install looks brilliant too I'm over the moon. After Install the follow up calls are second to non and the information flow from Alps just shows to me how these guys are so sought after. This is great leadership and a great company. Just BRAVO!!! %100 recommended.

We have used Alps twice now, initially for an EV charger install then a couple of months later for a solar and battery system install. From start to finish they have been great, communication is excellent and they always turn up when they say. The quality of the work couldn’t be faulted on both occasions, they are always polite, give honest advice and clearly care about the quality of the work.

An outstanding experience with Andy and the team. I’m not usually one for a gushing review but our experience with Alps Electrical has probably been one of the best we’ve had. From start to finish Andy and Bella have provided professional advice and support around our choices and the installation went very smoothly with everyone working as a team. The explanation of the system and queries afterwards have been dealt with expertly and quickly. We are delighted with our new solar system and cannot recommend Andy, Bella and the whole team too highly, they are great!

A little about the people behind the business

Andy trained as an electrical apprentice from school age, going on to work in all sectors of electrical installation, including domestic, commercial, and industrial gaining invaluable experience.

Andy manages the installation side of the business, and you can be sure that every job is carried out safely, cleanly, swiftly, and to the highest of standards!

Oh, and you may remember Andy from The X Factor?! He came 3rd in 2005 with his brother Carl as the duo Journey South, and went on to have a number-one album with Simon Cowell in 2006 selling over 216,000 copies in one week! One of the many highlights for Andy was performing for King Charles on his 60th birthday and being an ambassador for The Princes Trust. Andy's passion outside of work is music where he still writes, records, and performs.

Isabella trained and worked as a financial advisor for 15 years before joining Alps, where her customer service skills, as well as the requirement for exceptional attention to detail mean that no stone is left unturned in her role at Alps. Isabella ensures that the customer service experience from the initial contact through to installation is the best it can be.
