• Large kitchen renovation

  Alex at his team at Antler took on a large job with us that included knocking through a structural wall, installing a couple of steels, completely renovating the kitchen, turning a lean to into a fully functional utility room and moving a door for one of the upstairs bedrooms. The job was done to incredibly high quality. Alex clearly takes his work very seriously and takes a lot of pride in his work. Any minor issues that are typical with this sort of big project were rectified straight away. The work was done in a timely manner and I would not hesitate in recommending Alex to others.

• Major makeover and extension to 1928 detached house

  Antler carried out major works to our 1928 detached house over a 4 month period. Built a 2 m rear extension divided into lounge extension and laundry room; removed internal walls to make ground floor open plan; installed new kitchen and re-installed parts of existing kitchen in laundry room; installed downstairs loo suite and completely re-tiled; new flooring (mainly engineered wood, some porcelain tile). There were many modifications required to all services (water, electricity, sewage). Antler carried out all works with great skill and responded promptly to any requests we made.

• Bathroom remodel

  I had such confidence in Alex's ability to complete my bathroom remodel as promised that I was out of the country while the work was done! Alex was nothing but helpful and accommodating in every respect. He was excellent at providing current updates and was very quick to reply to any questions asked. His manner is courteous, friendly and professional. My family is very happy with the new bathroom and I love the tiling work - it is first class.

• Removal of chimney stack and hearth

  Antler removed a chimney stack for me which ran through the centre of my house. The job involved removing the external stack, making good the roof, removing the flue running through the house, and erecting a bit of stud wall to replace it. Alex was punctual, kept me in the loop at every stage, and showed a lot of regard for keeping the job clean. He left the place a lot cleaner than I was expecting after such a messy job! He also found another worker to finish the job ahead of schedule before a bank holiday weekend, which was much appreciated. I definitely plan to use Antler again!

  Work took 2 weeks. Pallet of new components delivered in advance followed by skip for removal of material. Work started promptly and was thoroughly done by Alex with assistance from Henry. They worked hard and fast, explaining issues as they went. A thoroughly professional job by extremely competent tradesmen. Alex lead the charge and dealt with each issue as it arose and explained what was going on. He transformed an aged bathroom into a delight. Thank you

• Complete new bathroom installed

  Antler construction fitted our new bathroom Nov 2021.Immediately after installation our shower was not working. They told us we needed a pump, something they had not mentioned before. We had to pay £300 to another plumber to install this, as they told this plumber they were not confident in installing it. February, we had a leak from the kitchen ceiling, which has caused a large hole in tithe home emergency plumber told us the shower tray was cracked as it had been over tightened. Antler construction does not acknowledge this problem was caused by them and is refusing to do anything about it.
