    The Arkson team did a brilliant job. The boss, Ben, was polite, professional, honest and upbeat. He gave good advice and had plenty of sound ideas to bring the project to life. He finished on time and to budget. What I especially liked was the level of craftsmanship and the finer details that the team included, many of which added the final few % to make the job really special. Top team, great job.

    I hired Ben to carry out multiple works for a renovation project; external and internal chimney stack removal, load bearing wall removal with RSJ fitting, bathroom fitting including moving pipe work and part ceiling replacement. I would highly recommend Ben as he carried out all jobs to an exceptional standard and wouldn’t leave a job unfinished. He is very knowledgable in all matters relating to building works.

    Mr Belsey is a delightful man with a wealth of building experience behind him. He has worked for me twice and the finished product on each occasion exceeded my expectations. I have also seen things that he has done for other people and heard from them how pleased they were with the work. Ben is a very skilled craftsman and everything that he does is done to a very high standard with little mess during the actual work and with the site left really clean and tidy on completion..   • Reconstruction of dilapidated porch

    The porch in question is the main entrance to a large, old house in the centre of a village conservation area. Its dilapidated state required reconstruction of brick pillars, door surround, and replacement of the front door and frame that had to be purpose-built. Ben’s excellent workmanship enabled the work to blend-in to the existing, traditional brickwork. His skill and workmanship were of the highest order. The work was started on time and completed on schedule. The site was left clean and tidy. The final result exceeded my expectations in every respect.
