  • Replace locking 'mechanism' and lock for a uPVC door

    Our uPVC front door would not lock. We contacted A.R.M Locksmiths and when Andrew arrived he clearly explained what he thought the likely problem was. On removing the lock 'mechanism', this proved to be the case and, with our agreement, he then replaced the lock 'mechanism' and also installed a more secure key 'barrel'. Andrew worked quickly, kept us informed throughout and carefully cleaned up after completing the work. We are pleased with the end result and will certainly contact A.R.M should we experience any future problems with our door mechanisms / locks.

  • Replacing a broken internal door catch - as an emergency

    Our kitchen door wouldn't open, as the latch had suddenly broken. The locksmith, Andrew MCArthur came out very quickly to repair it. He was very efficient, friendly, professional and helpful, explained everything very well, and advised on other security issues which I was concerned about. We will definitely be using his services again.

  • Resolve issue with front door lock

    I was given the recommendation by a friend and telephoned the company due to having issues locking and unlocking my front door. The call was answered within seconds and an appointment made for the following day between 9.30 and 10 am. At 9.33 Andrew arrived, I explained the situation and he listened and asked my ideal resolution. He then worked his magic and gave me a very comprehensive explanation of what the problem was and how he had resolved it.........the lock now works every time smoothly and efficiently and the site was left clean and tidy.
