    I called Kevin after my tap burst and my stop cock failed. He talked me through how to solve the problem myself and came out a few days later to fit a new tap. He was friendly, helpful and my new tap is fabulous. Would 100% recommend.

  • Old clay soil pipe leak

    A 60+ year old cast iron to clay soil pipe sprang a leak in my kitchen. The joint was tricky to get to and I was worried it was going to result in having to dig up the clay pipe and replace it. Not only did Kevin take my call on a Sunday and provide me with some reassurance, he attended the job a couple of days later and went above and beyond to resolve the problem without having to dig up the pipe. During the repair, he took the time to talk me through what he was doing, putting in failsafes and securing iron pipe so it won’t cause the repair to fail in the future. 100% would recommend.

    With water pouring out of the ground and no taps working we were relieved to get through to a real person. He immediately understood the problem, told us what needed to be done, what it would cost and when he would do it. He turned up early, worked hard and fixed the problem. He’s a real find: someone who knows his stuff and takes pride in helping others. Unhesitating recommendation for a very nice bloke who’s every bit as good as his word.

    Kevin arrived on time and immediately solved the problem of where the cisterns were located (in loft space not behind toilets. Further realized that the flushing mechanism was air operated and there may the issue. Change the two plungers (bellows) and hey presto! Flushing toilets at the same time avoiding tearing down panels and repair of same. His price was reasonable and his knowledge save me a lot of time and money. Would not hesitate to recommend Kevin. Great job!
