  I’ve had a nightmare at home and had 9 plumbers at circa 120 a pop claiming they could sort out a blocked drain. They didn’t! Cue George and James and in a day and a half sorted out a situation that meant I had a functioning a sink in the first time in 4 months. A forestic attitude and everything sorted with a good clean up too. A pair of lovely blokes makes it easy too. (They do love a bacon buttie) I’ve had awful experiences of trades and these guys the exception

  I recommend George and his team to anyone needing to have building work done. He is reliable, honest, talented and very supportive. I was very lucky that George made the process of renovating my first home a fun and exciting experience. It is very rare to find a builder that you can fully trust to produce a high standard of work, guide you through a stressful process and is worth every penny. It was great to have George organsing for other trades involved in the project to be people he trusted and recommend. I wouldn't use any other builder, George and the lads are wonderful.

• Widen courtyard entrance and lay granite sets

  We had Barnard Builders come to widen our old courtyard entrance, create a new driveway and lay granite sets, they were professional, efficient, knowledgeable and a very high standard of workmanship that we were really pleased with.

• Laying new patio and path around the house

  Did a great job laying a new patio and path for me, finished to a really high standard. The team are very pleasant to deal with, and were always tidy, keeping any disruption to a minimum. I have further work to be done around the house, and wouldn't consider going anywhere else.
