    Sourced and gave recommendations about how to renew an existing staircase that needed new newel posts. The old handrail and spindles were tatty and the dark colour was seeping through the white paint . We changed to light oak and glass with white newel posts. Superb job. We can take the glass off to decorate behind. Strongly recommend.

    This was only a one-day job, but from the start Dan was punctual, reliable, and a complete gentleman, I've had bad experiences in the past with tradespeople either not wanting to take on small jobs or trying to drag them out as long as possible, but Dan made an early start and was all done by the time I finished work, with the living room back to a liveable state too. The shelves were perfectly straight despite it being a Victorian property, and look amazing, our house has a lot of alcoves and hardly any built-in storage so I fully intend to hire Bolton Carpentry again.

Dan is a time served carpenter with 25 years’ experience as a carpenter and is a qualified Joiner.

At Bolton Carpentry we consider all types of carpentry projects from wardrobes and kitchens to floors and roofs.

We specialise in complete refurbishments, cut and pitch roofing, building out-buildings, structural repairs to floors etc. and loft conversions.

We can supply and fit multiple doors (3 or more), skirtings and architraves. 

We supply and fit kitchens or fit kitchens supplied by others. 

We have lots of experience fitting hardwood or laminate or other timber flooring. 

We can also do decking either timber or composite.

We supply and fit internal staircases.

We also excel at on site fitted furniture. Cupboards and shelving.


We do some very small jobs but we have a minimum labour charge of £150.
