    He was meticulous in his work which was to an excellent standard, and at the end of each day tidied and left the house in good order. A very courteous and polite young man who kept us informed of what he was doing and confirming regularly with us what our requirements were. When the job was completed he cleared, dusted, hoovered where he had worked and took all debris with him. Would highly recommend him for any painting or decorating and would have him back for further work.

    What can I say but flawless work. Callum discusses exactly what you want and what he does, then performs the work quickly, tidily, and to an exceptional standard. The only way you know he has been there is because of the smell of paint and the fresh look to where he worked. Callum tidies up after himself and leaves little to no mess. He also did woodwork at my parents' and it felt so smooth with no bits or ripples, I was amazed. In my opinion, if you want decorating there are plenty to do it: if you want a very high standard with courtesy and manners then there is Callum's Decorating.

    Callum is a wonderful helpful young man who will go above and beyond to help you out. I was in a very low place and felt very depressed and embarrassed about the state of the room but callum put me straight at ease. Anything he didn't like about the work, he made sure he changed to be perfect. The walls were filed down,replastered and painted by Callum as well as skirting boards and ceiling. He never once made me feel bad about the state of the room and got it done at rapid speed. Couldn't be happier with the room! It has changed my mental health for the better rapidly. Cannot recommend enough

Company info

I am a qualified decorator with 5 years of onsite and in the workplace experience covering a range of decorating from wallpapering, interior, exterior, new builds and insurance work. I have covered many job of different sizes from just a front door to large multimillion pound homes so no job is too big or small.


I will mainly suggest and use acrylic based (water based) products to complete the job which limits drying times and strong odors from solvent based (oil based) from lingering around your home.


Here at Callum's Decorating I am confident that even though each project is different I can see it from start to finish in a quick and tidy manner leaving a satisfactory finish for you, the customer.
