  Cherrylofts did an excellent job with our loft conversion project located in reading. Dean and Ben, our main carpenters and the rest or the team, was professional, skilled, and completed the work in a timely manner. The finish is perfect in terms of functionality quality and design. While the overall experience was positive, there were a few minor issues along the way that required attention. However, the team was responsive and resolved these issues promptly.   Would I recommend, definitely not, project over ran several weeks from the quoted 8-10 weeks until final sign of. Project was not managed well at all, poor communication, poor reliability, trades arriving but not able to complete their work due to other stages not completed, trades walking out on the job. Site left messy, left un-secure, roof not left watertight resulting in a severe leak during the night. An long list of issues which I cant list. Ended up with a decent room but a real struggle to get there and such a stressful experience for me and my wife which we really didnt need.

  Cherry Loft did a 'shell' structure of our loft conversion at the fixed price. They listened to our requirements and offered quite often a better solution. They accommodated our ask to change design of the Velux windows which was well into contruction at no extra cost, although it meant a bit more work for builders. We were happy with the quality of the work and advice they provided was invaluable. As it was a 'shell only' job Cherry loft recommended other trades (electrician, plumber), so we can complete works at our pace. Overall positive experience, good value for money and quality work.

  We found Cherry Lofts were very willing to listen and incorporate our wants unlike other loft companies. They are up for bespoke design as opposed to ‘cookie cutter’ loft conversions. Their carpenters on site were very communicative and offered potential ideas that could enhance our final design as the project progressed. They were very reasonably priced and the project finished in line with the original budget. With reference to the poor reviews, there were some days we were left in the dark but they always rectified any issues and the quality of our conversion is second to none.

  Work due to commence 2.5.22 with contract 6-8 weeks. As of today contract has been terminated and work incomplete. Inconsistent trades people (manly labourers) new to company and left to do own thing with poor quality showing. Owner seldom shows up taking 3 hour breaks. Poor craftsmanship, lack of integrity, lack of respect for owners and property. Check contract rigorously if you do take a contract! Would we recommend...No
