    Ben and the team did a great job. On budget, on time and we would recommend them to anyone. Always very neat and tidy and our whole family are delighted with the result. Anyone who has ever done any building work knows there will always be one or two problems to overcome along the way, and Ben’s quality is that when these arose he was always available to sort them out with no fuss

    The best thing about our build? Choosing Ben and his team to create our dream home. It was a 6-month project and we were fully prepared that timelines would slip - but they didn’t at all - in fact, it tracked ahead of time. Any glitches that came up were quickly resolved. One of the best things about choosing Ben is his responsiveness and his fantastic team. Many of our neighbours have commented how courteous and tidy they were and they - like us - are amazed at the quality of the build. If we ever do another build we would 100% use Ben again!

Company info

Chestnut Construction Kent Ltd is a local building company based in Tonbridge. The company was set up by myself Ben Underhill after working many years for large building contractors, and now wishing to bring that expertise to clients and provide quality and great workmanship. Almost all of the work is through recommendations. Ben himself has over 15 years’ experience and is a bricklayer and ground worker, and has a team of professional tradesman to complete associated works, with also a quantity surveyor to hand for any large projects. All of the tradesman have the relevant certificate s that are needed to perform the tasks in hand.
